A short version of this disclosure appears before a photo is sent for an AI condition check or slab scan, beside AI condition results, and on the Concierge page before first use. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for details.
AI grading estimates
TH3 COLL3CTIV3 AI estimates are educational approximations derived from submitted images and information. They are not physical inspections, official grades, professional appraisals, authentication opinions or guarantees. Images may conceal scratches, print lines, dents, trimming, restoration, counterfeits or other defects. PSA, CGC, Beckett or other graders may reach different conclusions. You bear the decision and expense of purchasing, selling, shipping, insuring or submitting cards.
When you request an AI check or a slab scan, your photo is sent to Anthropic for analysis. See Privacy Policy section 4.
Card scanning
Card scanning reads the printed text on cards in your photo and suggests catalog matches. It can misread text or match the wrong printing; you confirm or correct each card before it’s added. It doesn’t judge condition, value or authenticity.
Concierge
The Concierge is an AI assistant that answers questions using your cloud-saved Vault and TH3 COLL3CTIV3’s calculators. It can make mistakes, misread a question, or leave things out. It doesn’t predict grades or prices, isn’t financial or investment advice, and can’t change anything in your account. Prices it mentions come from the source it names, with that source’s date; check important numbers on the page it points to. What it sends to Anthropic is described in the Privacy Policy.
Certification lookups
A certification number matching a public registry record does not prove the submitted slab or card is genuine, unaltered or owned by the user. Check physical security features and official records independently.
Grading, planning and trade calculations
The Grading Lab, Submission Planner, Trade Analyzer and listing check calculate scenarios from the prices, costs and grade chances you enter, or from market values you choose to apply. They show possible outcomes, break-even prices and averages across your assumptions. An “expected” figure is an average, not a promise: a single card gets one grade. No grading outcome, price or profit is guaranteed.
Price and profit estimates
Market data may be delayed, sparse, inaccurate or based on incomparable transactions. Asking prices are not completed sales. Projected profit excludes or estimates fees, shipping, taxes, insurance, grading costs, returns and market movement as identified on screen. No guaranteed profit or resale price is offered. Prices shown for a grade a card has not received are subject to actual grading and market pricing.
Where a price comes from a provider, TH3 COLL3CTIV3 shows the provider and date. Raw prices usually aren’t condition-specific, and our sources don’t confirm printings such as first edition, reverse holo or parallels; the match details say what was and wasn’t checked. Values you type are labelled as yours.
