Effective January 1, 2027. These standards are part of the Terms of Service. They apply to collector profiles and anything you share or send to other collectors on The Collectiv.
1. What profiles can contain
Profiles are text only: a profile name, display name, short bio, featured cards from your collection, set milestones and an optional trade note. Photos and links aren’t allowed. Profile names that look official or use brand names (for example a card publisher, league, grading company or The Collectiv) aren’t allowed.
2. Not allowed
Fraud or scams, including misdescribing cards, condition, grades, certifications, alterations or authenticity, or asking for payment outside an agreed trade.
Impersonation of a person, company or brand, or implying an affiliation you don’t have.
Harassment, threats or hate based on protected characteristics, or encouraging others to do these.
Sexual content, and any content that exploits or endangers children.
Doxxing: sharing someone’s private information, such as addresses, phone numbers or account details.
Unlawful content or offers, including stolen or counterfeit cards.
Infringement of someone’s copyright, trademark or other rights (see the Copyright and IP policy).
Spam and evasion: getting around blocks, limits, removals or suspensions, including with new accounts.
3. Reporting and blocking
Use Report on a profile to tell us about content that breaks these standards, and Block to stop someone following you (a block removes follows both ways). Reports are reviewed by a person. Blocks and reports aren’t shown to the person blocked or reported.
4. What we may do
We may hide a profile, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close an account, depending on how serious and repeated the problem is. Where appropriate we tell you what happened and why. To ask for a review, contact cardcafeadmin@gmail.com.
We moderate in good faith and use reasonable discretion, but we don’t monitor everything continuously and can’t guarantee that every problem is caught or prevented. Be careful when dealing with people you don’t know.
5. Repeat infringement
We remove or disable content that we’re properly notified is infringing, and we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe, under the Copyright and IP policy.
